Tacite-IA is a data protection product, and we hold this website to the same standard. It sets no cookies, uses no audience measurement tools and loads no resources from any third-party service.

Data processed

Community and contact

The “Join the community” form does not send anything to our servers: it opens your own email application with a pre-filled message, which you choose whether or not to send. If you write to us, we process the information you provide (name, organisation, work email address, number of devices, intended use, message).

  • Purpose: to respond to your request, arrange a demonstration, support you and run the community.
  • Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request and the legitimate interest of Simplymy in responding to organisations that contact it.
  • Retention period: 3 years from your last contact with us, after which the data is deleted.
  • Recipients: only the people at Simplymy responsible for handling your request, and our email service provider for the delivery of emails. Your data is never sold or transferred.

Technical logs of the website host

As with any website, the host of this showcase website (Cloudflare, Inc.) processes technical connection data (IP address, browser, date) in order to deliver the pages and protect the website against attacks. This data is not used by Simplymy for tracking purposes. As Cloudflare, Inc. is established in the United States, these transfers are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The Tacite-IA product

The Tacite-IA program analyses messages and files exclusively on the user’s device. No content, no detected value, no text and no file name is ever transmitted to Simplymy.

Licensing service and administration

For client organisations, the licensing service (api.tacite-ia.com) and the administration area (admin.tacite-ia.com) process only:

  • the organisation’s key, a random device identifier, the type of software (program, extension or plugin) and its version;
  • protection events: date, event type, decision taken, assistant concerned (or “non-AI”), data type identifiers and counts. The user’s name is associated with them only if the organisation has enabled this;
  • the administrator’s account: email address, password hash, encrypted two-factor authentication secret, log of their actions.

For this data, Simplymy acts as a processor on behalf of the client organisation, which is the controller. The data is stored in a database subject to the jurisdiction of the European Union (Cloudflare D1, “EU” jurisdiction), retained for the period chosen by the organisation (180 days by default for events) and deleted 30 days after the account is closed. The log of the administrator’s actions is kept for 3 years. The IP address is used only for technical purposes, to limit the number of requests, and is not recorded.

Organisation accounts

For account management, Simplymy is the controller of its clients’ data: the organisation’s name and the administrator’s email address. An unconfirmed sign-up request (organisation, email address) is deleted after 7 days. Cancellation is done from the administration area (Subscription page) or by writing to support@simplymy.fr.

  • Purposes and legal basis: performance of the contract (access to the service).
  • Retention period: the term of the subscription, followed by deletion 30 days after it ends.
  • Billing: billing data (name, billing address, VAT number) is processed to issue invoices and retained for 10 years (accounting obligation). Payment is processed by Stripe, which acts as a controller for fraud prevention purposes. Simplymy neither receives nor stores any bank card number.

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting of the website, the licensing service and the database), Stripe (subscription payments) and Resend (sending of sign-up and welcome emails, from the European Union). As these companies are established in the United States, any transfers outside the European Union are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to set out instructions regarding what happens to it after your death. To exercise these rights, write to us at support@simplymy.fr. We will respond within one month.

If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr.

Security

The website is served exclusively over HTTPS. Email exchanges are handled with appropriate security measures and access restricted to authorised personnel only.
